What to expect from Stormdrop.
Can I buy one today?+
Not yet. Stormdrop is in a private pilot and is not accepting preorders. The launch list is simply the best way to hear about early access and Kickstarter plans.
What does setup involve?+
Setup uses the companion mobile app and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. You choose a ZIP code and personalize the lamp from there.
Does it work with Alexa, Google Home, or HomeKit?+
Not today. Stormdrop is intentionally a focused, standalone weather lamp; it does not currently offer smart-home routines or voice-assistant integrations.
Can I change the colors or the location?+
Yes. The companion app lets you choose another five-digit U.S. ZIP code, set brightness, and tailor the colors used for different weather conditions.
